Title: Cashier

Reports to: Store Manager/ Assistant Store Manager/Operation Manager

Function: LRBD / Sales & Operation The basic motive of a cashier is to ensure correct, easy, quick, efficient, and pleasant monetary transaction with the customers.

Responsibilities

Billing and Cashiering a) To do error free billing .

b) To manage all the cash, credit card and bank transactions.

c) To maintain daily account and reconciliation of the daily transactions.

d) To ensure tallying of cash at the start and end of the day.

e) To ensure billing is done on the correct price of products .

f) To handle correct billing under discount coupons and gift vouchers.

g) Making daily, weekly and monthly transaction reports.

h) To handle customer returns as per the policy.

i) To ensure customer data is collected at the POS.

j) To ensure that sales credit is captured in the system correctly.

k) Petty cash management.

l) Maintaining Registers as per Protocol Maintain cash safe key log register.

m) GV Register as per format to be maintained.

n) Cancellation of GV at the time of GV redemption with date.

Sales Achievement a) To influence sale by proactive interaction with customers.

b)



To emphasis on add on sales & increase in average bill value.

Customer Service a) To handle customer queries.

b) To escalate any major customer issues/ feedback to the Store Manager/section Incharge as and when required.

Store Operations a) To ensure that store SOPs are adhered to minimize inventory loss.

b) To participate in inventory audit at the store.

c) Merchandise has security tag and accurate Bar Code.

Self & Teamwork Self development a) To provide mentoring to recent employees and to ensure positive work environment.

b) To display teamwork at workplace towards common objective c) To groom as per SHOWOFF standards and adhere to the code of conduct

Desired Candidate Profile:

Min Qualifying Age 21 Years of Age and above

Minimum Qualifying Education 2nd PUC/Graduation

Languages:- Must know basic English, Kannada and Hindi

Computing Systems Knowledge Must

Minimum Experience Required 1 to 3yrs
