Position: Car Evaluator

Industry: Automobile Dealership

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and evaluate used vehicles for exchange, purchase, and resale.

- Conduct detailed checks of vehicle condition, including engine, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and body panels.

- Identify accidental, flood-damaged, repainted, or tampered vehicles.

- Determine fair market value based on vehicle condition, age, mileage, service history, and market demand.

- Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance and mechanical condition.

- Prepare vehicle evaluation reports and recommend procurement pricing.

- Negotiate vehicle purchase prices with customers.

- Coordinate with sales, service, and procurement teams to support used car business operations.

- Maintain records of vehicle evaluations, purchases, and exchange transactions.





- Track market trends and competitor pricing in the used car segment.

Required Skills:

- Robust technical knowledge of passenger vehicles.

- Expertise in used car inspection and valuation.

- Good negotiation and customer handling skills.

- Ability to identify mechanical and structural issues.

- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems.

Qualification:

- Graduate or Diploma in Automobile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in Used Car Evaluation, Vehicle Inspection, Exchange Operations, or Procurement.
