Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate institutional vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely transportation of staff, students, materials, and other assigned personnel as required.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate heavy vehicles safely in accordance with traffic rules and regulations.
- Transport staff, students, materials, and other authorized personnel as assigned.
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off as per the assigned schedule.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and check brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, and other essential components.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.
- Report mechanical issues, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and other vehicle-related documents.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and fitness certificates are valid.




- Follow institutional safety policies and maintain professional conduct.
- Coordinate with the transport department for daily schedules and vehicle assignments.

Required Skills and Eligibility

- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of relevant heavy vehicle driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work flexible schedule and shifts when required.
- Clean driving record preferred.

Qualifications

Job Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Experience: 2–5 Years preferred

Qualification: 10th Pass / Any Basic Qualification

Licence: Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence – Mandatory
