Job Title: Boomi Developer-EDI

Experience: 3–5 years overall IT experience, with 2+ years of hands-on Boomi experience

OSI Digital is looking for a skilled Boomi Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using the Boomi AtomSphere platform. The candidate will integrate applications, databases, APIs, and external systems while ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance. Basic EDI knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.

- Build integrations across ERP, CRM, databases, cloud applications, and third-party systems.

- Create and maintain Boomi processes, maps, connectors, profiles, and document transformations.

- Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP/FTP, and web services.

- Work with XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, and other data formats.

- Implement error handling, exception management, logging, and retry mechanisms.

- Monitor processes, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production issues.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Support deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

- Prepare technical documentation and mapping specifications.

- Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and developers.

- Follow integration standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere.

- Knowledge of Boomi processes, connectors, maps, profiles, process properties, and document handling.

- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, HTTP, SFTP/FTP, and web services.

- Knowledge of XML, JSON, CSV, and flat-file formats.





- Understanding of data mapping, transformation, validation, and integration patterns.

- Knowledge of error handling, process reporting, debugging, and deployment management.

- Basic SQL and database connectivity knowledge.

- Understanding of Atom, Molecule, and environment management.

- Valuable analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.

- Familiarity with EDI transactions such as 850 (Purchase Order), 810 (Invoice), 856 (Advance Ship Notice), and 997 (Functional Acknowledgment).

- Understanding of EDI protocols such as AS2 and SFTP.

- Experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

We are not looking for someone who:

- Has limited or no hands-on Boomi development experience.

- Cannot independently develop, test, and deploy integrations.

- Has only theoretical knowledge of APIs and web services without practical experience.

- Lacks basic knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and troubleshooting.

- Has no understanding of error handling or production support.

- Is unfamiliar with basic SQL and database connectivity.
