SS Mahindra, Vazhayila, Trivandrum, is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Bodyshop Manager to oversee bodyshop operations, manage the team, ensure high-quality vehicle repairs, and achieve customer satisfaction and business targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of automobile body repair, denting, painting, insurance claims, and workshop management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the bodyshop department.
- Supervise denting, painting, accident repair, and vehicle restoration activities.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery while maintaining high-quality repair standards.
- Monitor technician productivity, workflow, and repair turnaround time (TAT).
- Coordinate with service advisors, spare parts, insurance companies, and surveyors.
- Oversee insurance claims, repair estimates, approvals, and documentation.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of bodyshop technicians and staff.
- Monitor department revenue, profitability, material consumption, and operational costs.




- Ensure proper maintenance of workshop equipment and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare regular performance reports and work towards achieving business targets.

Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in automobile bodyshop operations.
- Previous experience in a Bodyshop Manager or supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of denting, painting, accident repairs, and insurance claim procedures.
- Experience in an automobile dealership or authorized service centre is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Valuable customer-handling, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Diploma or ITI qualification in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
