Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering consultancy or a related field. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate BIM models and drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in accordance with project specifications, design standards, and BIM requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems.
- Create and modify BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models to identify and resolve clashes.
- Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Prepare coordinated drawings and models in accordance with project requirements and BIM execution plans.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project specifications, design standards, and authority requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators,



and other project team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Update BIM models based on design revisions, site feedback, and coordination comments.
- Maintain proper model documentation, naming conventions, and revision control.
- Support quantity take-offs and extraction of schedules from BIM models, where required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP BIM modelling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks.
- Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, model coordination, and clash resolution processes.
- Familiarity with LOD requirements and BIM Execution Plans.
- Experience in preparing coordinated MEP layouts and detailed drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
