Description and requirements
Purpose:
- Deliver high‑quality BIM modeling services supporting Integrated Project Solutions (IPS) projects
- Support the Lead Modeler and Lead Engineer:
- With an assessment of the quality and availability of information on the models provided by the customer
Key Tasks:
1. Modeling Delivery & Project Execution
- Deliver accurate, high-quality BIM models aligned with design input
- Support IPS delivery through reliable modeling outputs
- Modeling according to general Hilti guidelines and provided by the Lead Engineer
- Execute simple–medium complexity BIM models using provided templates (Based on the template information provided by the PM/ Lead Engineer perform our BIM Modelling & BIM Output Services)
- Follow design input from BIM PM & Lead Engineer (input received by PMO stakeholders.)
- Apply standard tools (Revit/Navisworks, or business required) as instructed. (Contribute to a skilled, standardized portfolio of software supporting all modeling use-cases).
1. Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Follow Hilti BIM workflows, standards, and documentation requirements
- Identify missing data, clashes, inconsistencies early
- Run basic clash checks and escalate issues (using visual review if possible)
- Maintain structured model setup & disciplined documentation
- Maintain own documentation & time tracking (Ensure proper documentation along the workflow & professionally record the number of hours spent on a project for himself/herself and share them with the respective Project Manager and Team Lead on an agreed and regular basis for performance man)
1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with PMO, VE HUB, Engineering & BIM teams
- Collaborate in shared modeling environments (Collaborate with other Modelers in case of simultaneous modeling in common environment)
- Establish excellent working relationships with fellow members of the BIM Competence Center / Regional PMO / Value Engineering Hubs and functional counterparts in MOs.
1. Competence Development & Continuous Improvement
- Build foundational modeling competence
- Actively provide input and serve as a sparring partner for colleagues tasked with further developing our modelling and software tools.
- Use automation/scripts; improve modeling processes
Accountability:
- Compliant modeling services including output generation and documentation in-line with Hilti’s workflow, global guidelines and provided engineering Designs.
- Industry leading modeling execution utilizing lean external resource coordination and efficiency automations.
- Strive for modeling quality and drive modeling KPIs
Qualification:
Basic Education
- Technical Education background
- 1-3+ years modeling/drafting experience
Special Knowledge
- Foundational BIM modeling skills
- Ability to follow workflows and structured documentation
- Basic understanding of construction/MEP/BIM coordination
- Proficiency with core BIM tools under guidance (e.g. Revit)
- Experience with automation/scripts and optimization of BIM workflows is a strong plus
Languages
- Fluent in English, all other languages are a plus
