1. Job Summary

The Billing cum Sales is responsible for handling customer enquiries, preparing sales bills and quotations, processing orders, maintaining billing records, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires good communication skills, billing accuracy, and knowledge of stainless steel products.

1. Key Responsibilities

A. Billing &

- Invoicing

- Prepare sales invoices, cash bills, credit bills, and quotations accurately.

- Enter sales transactions into the company's billing software or ERP system.

- Verify product descriptions, quantities, rates, discounts, GST, and totals before billing.

- Handle sales returns, credit notes, and billing corrections with approval.

- Maintain daily billing records and submit sales reports to management.

B. Sales &

- Customer Handling

- Attend walk-in customers and understand their product requirements.

- Explain product specifications, prices, quality, and availability.

- Promote stainless steel pipes, sheets, pipe fittings, handrail materials, and related products.

- Convert customer enquiries into sales and achieve assigned sales targets.

- Follow up on pending quotations, customer enquiries, and orders.

- Maintain good relationships with existing customers and identify new sales opportunities.

C. Stock &

- Order Management

- Check stock availability before confirming customer orders.

- Coordinate with the store and purchase departments regarding material availability.

- Ensure the correct products and quantities are billed and supplied.

- Inform management about fast-moving items, low stock, and customer requirements.

- Coordinate material dispatch and delivery with the concerned team.

D. Cash &

- Payment Handling

- Collect cash and process approved digital payments.

- Maintain daily cash and billing records.





- Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up as instructed.

- Ensure proper documentation for credit sales and customer accounts.

- Reconcile daily collections and report discrepancies to management.

E. Reporting &

- Administration

- Prepare daily sales, billing, and collection reports.

- Maintain customer details, quotations, invoices, and other sales documents.

- Follow company pricing policies and credit approval procedures.

- Support branch operations and other sales-related activities as assigned.

1. Qualifications &
- Skills

- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Degree in any discipline.

- Experience in billing, retail sales, or accounting is preferred.

- Knowledge of GST billing and basic accounting is an advantage.

- Computer knowledge and experience with billing software or Tally are preferred.

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

- Basic knowledge of stainless steel products is desirable.

- Ability to handle cash, calculations, and sales records accurately.

- Billing accuracy and timely invoice preparation.

- Achievement of monthly sales targets.

- Customer satisfaction and repeat business.

- Number of customer enquiries converted into sales.

- Accuracy of cash collection and daily reconciliation.

- Proper maintenance of billing records and outstanding payments.

- Compliance with company pricing, stock, and credit policies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
