Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Baker specializing in savoury bakery products for our food production facility. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on expertise in preparing, baking, and developing non-sweet bakery products, ensuring consistent quality, taste, texture, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and produce a wide range of savoury bakery products, including rolls, sandwiches, croissants, baked snacks, savoury puffs, stuffed buns, and other non-sweet bakery items.

- Manage end-to-end bakery production, including dough preparation, mixing, kneading, proofing, shaping, filling, baking, and finishing.

- Develop and standardize recipes, ingredients, portion sizes, and production processes.

- Ensure consistent product quality, taste, texture, appearance, and freshness across batches.

- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, ovens, mixers, proofers, and other production machinery.

- Plan daily production schedules and manage ingredient usage to minimize wastage.

- Maintain food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards in accordance with applicable food safety guidelines.





- Monitor raw material quality, inventory, storage, and shelf life.

- Train and supervise junior bakers and bakery production staff.

- Troubleshoot baking issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8–13 years of hands-on experience in commercial bakery production or industrial food manufacturing.

- Strong specialization in savoury bakery products and non-sweet baked goods.

- Expertise in dough handling, lamination, proofing, fillings, baking temperatures, and production techniques.

- Experience in bulk production, recipe standardization, and quality control.

- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and bakery equipment handling.

- Ability to manage production targets, team coordination, and minimize material wastage.
