Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented B2B Sourcing Executive to identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers and manufacturing partners. The candidate will support supplier development, procurement, cost optimisation and sourcing activities for industrial and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers, vendors, OEMs and manufacturing partners for industrial and engineering requirements.
- Conduct B2B sourcing for components, raw materials, machined parts, castings, forgings, sheet metal, plastics and other engineering products.
- Source suppliers through online portals, industry databases, referrals, market research and direct vendor outreach.
- Understand technical requirements, drawings, specifications, quantities and quality expectations before initiating sourcing.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and maintain supplier databases, RFQs, quotation comparison sheets and vendor evaluation records.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, quality,



purchase and production teams to understand sourcing requirements.
- Support supplier qualification, documentation, capability assessment and vendor onboarding.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding samples, lead times, order status, quality issues and delivery commitments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality or delivery.
- Support localisation and new product development projects by identifying suitable domestic manufacturing partners.
- Coordinate supplier visits and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors.
- Track sourcing performance, including cost, quality, lead time and supplier responsiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B sourcing, vendor development, procurement or industrial purchasing.
- Experience sourcing engineering components, industrial products, raw materials or manufacturing services is preferred.
- Good understanding of RFQs, quotations, commercial negotiations and supplier evaluation.




- Basic ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, vendor databases and procurement documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing requirements and meet deadlines.
