: AutoCAD Designer – Real Estate & Solar Projects

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our team for real estate and solar energy projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in real estate layout planning, building drawings, and preparing technical drawings for solar panel installations on rooftops and other structures.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, have good technical drawing skills, and be able to coordinate with project, civil, and solar installation teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Real Estate Layout & Building Design

- Prepare residential and commercial land layout plans using AutoCAD.
- Develop plot subdivision plans, road layouts, site plans, and dimensioned drawings.
- Prepare building floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Assist in site planning, area calculations, and preparation of drawings for project approvals.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, client requirements, and engineering instructions.

1. Solar Installation Design

- Prepare rooftop solar panel layout drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Develop solar module placement plans, equipment layouts, and installation drawings.
- Prepare building rooftop plans indicating panel positions, access pathways, and equipment locations.
- Assist in preparing structural and mounting layout drawings for solar installations.
- Coordinate with solar engineers and installation teams to ensure drawings match actual site conditions.
- Prepare as-built drawings and update layouts after installation, wherever required.

1. Documentation & Coordination





- Conduct site measurements and prepare drawings based on site survey data.
- Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, project managers, and solar installation teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience.
- Practical experience in real estate layout planning and building drawings.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar panel layout and installation drawings.
- Good understanding of dimensions, scales, measurements, and technical drawing standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of SketchUp or other design software is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, building drawings, and survey data.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in both real estate and solar project design will be preferred.
- Knowledge of land surveying, plot area calculations, and building plan preparation is desirable.
- Experience working with civil contractors, real estate developers, or solar EPC companies is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
