- Advanced capability in market forecasting, financial modelling, NPV / business-case evaluation and data visualization

- Certification or working knowledge in product management, PLM, Power BI / Tableau or strategic road mapping is preferred

Responsibilities

- To shape a competitive and profitable global product portfolio by translating regional market opportunities, customer and technology requirements, vehicle-architecture possibilities, and financial attractiveness into an integrated long-range product plan, while improving modularity and commonality across products.

- Define model-class fit for each vehicle segment across global regions by assessing customer needs, regulations, competitive offerings, price positioning, and strategic portfolio gaps.

- Calculate Total Addressable Market (TAM) and market share (MS%) by region, segment, and class; develop auditable N+5-year forecasts using historical trends, assumptions, and scenario analysis.

- Analyze region-wise five-year CAGR by segment and class, identify growth pools and risks, and convert market intelligence into portfolio recommendations.

- Build investment, volume, revenue, and NPV assessments for proposed products and major portfolio actions in collaboration with Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Program teams.





- Prioritize product projects using market share potential, revenue, volume, NPV, strategic fit, technology readiness, resource demand, and risk; prepare transparent recommendations for management reviews.

- Create and maintain the global product plan, including model cadence, regional derivatives, lifecycle actions, launch windows, dependencies, and key decision gates.

- Develop and support fact-based business cases and executive pitches for new products, derivatives, technologies, and lifecycle interventions; address assumptions, sensitivities, and trade-offs.

- Drive complexity reduction through modularity and identify commonality opportunities among products within each Vehicle Architecture VA, balancing customer differentiation with scale and cost benefits.

- Facilitate discussions on Vehicle Architectures and VA-derived products; collect, structure, prioritize, and trace Vehicle-Level Definition (VLD) requirements for technologies and features.

- Develop subsystem technology roadmaps with R&D; and functional owners, assess maturity and timing, and integrate selected technologies and features into the product plan.

- Lead market-sizing, forecasting, portfolio analysis, and product-plan preparation; obtain required inputs from regional and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Recommend portfolio priorities, model / class positioning, lifecycle actions, and technology integration based on documented market, financial, architecture, and risk analysis.

- Convene cross-functional planning reviews, challenge planning assumptions, and escalate unresolved trade-offs or deviations to the Head - Global Product Planning for decision.
