Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and academic sessions in English and English Literature, as per departmental requirements.
- Teach subjects such as English Language, English Literature, Grammar, Communication Skills, Literary Criticism, and related areas, depending on the assigned curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, course materials, assignments, question papers, and assessments.
- Develop students' reading, writing, comprehension, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Encourage classroom discussions, presentations, debates, and other interactive learning activities.
- Evaluate student performance, conduct assessments, and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Mentor students and support their academic progress, projects, presentations, and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, results, and other required documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, academic events, and institutional initiatives.
- Contribute to research, publications, seminars, conferences, and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- Support institutional quality-assurance, accreditation, and other academic responsibilities as assigned.

Eligibility & Qualifications




- Master's degree in English, English Literature, or a relevant discipline, with First Class or equivalent, as applicable under prevailing regulatory norms.
- NET/SET/Ph.D. qualifications, wherever required under applicable UGC and other regulatory guidelines.
- Strong command of written and spoken English, grammar, literature, and language-related concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, classroom-management, and student-engagement skills.
- Relevant teaching experience will be preferred.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, digital learning tools, and student-centred instructional approaches will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a genuine interest in teaching, and the ability to make language and literature engaging and accessible to students. Candidates who can foster effective communication, critical thinking, analytical reading, and confident written expression through interactive teaching methods will be preferred. The ability to engage students from diverse academic backgrounds and support their overall academic and communication development will be an advantage.

Location & Employment Requirements

Job Location: Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh

This is a full-time, on-campus position at Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, Jabalpur. Candidates must be willing to work from the institution's campus and relocate to or reside in and around Jabalpur, as required.

Remote, hybrid, or non-Jabalpur work arrangements are not applicable.

Salary & Benefits The monthly salary will range from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000, based on qualifications, relevant experience, subject expertise, and institutional norms. Additional benefits, where applicable, will be governed by institutional policies.
