Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and academic sessions in Economics.
- Teach subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Business Economics, Indian Economy, Development Economics, and related areas, as per departmental requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Explain economic theories, concepts, models, and current economic developments through practical examples and case studies.
- Evaluate student performance, conduct assessments, and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Mentor students and support their academic progress, projects, presentations, and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, results, and other required documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, academic events, and institutional initiatives.
- Contribute to research, publications, seminars, conferences, and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- Support institutional quality-assurance, accreditation, and other academic responsibilities as assigned.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics,



Applied Economics, or a relevant discipline, with First Class or equivalent, as applicable under prevailing regulatory norms.
- NET/SET/Ph.D. qualifications, wherever required under applicable UGC and other regulatory guidelines.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain economic concepts clearly and effectively.
- Good communication, presentation, classroom-management, and student-engagement skills.
- Relevant teaching experience will be preferred.
- Knowledge of econometrics, statistical methods, economic policy, research methodology, or quantitative economic analysis will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of economic theory and its real-world applications, an interest in academic development, and the ability to engage students through interactive and concept-oriented teaching methods. Candidates who can connect economic principles with current affairs, Indian economic policy, business developments, and contemporary economic issues will be preferred. Job Location: Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh

This is a full-time, on-campus position at Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, Jabalpur. Candidates must be willing to work from the institution's campus and relocate to or reside in and around Jabalpur, as required.

Remote, hybrid, or non-Jabalpur work arrangements are not applicable.

Salary & Benefits The monthly salary will range from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000, based on qualifications, relevant experience, subject expertise, and institutional norms. Additional benefits, where applicable, will be governed by institutional policies.
