Job Summary

NB Entrepreneurs is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Assistant Production Manager to manage and supervise daily production operations. The candidate must have strong knowledge of production processes, industrial machinery, manpower management, and production planning.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling production teams, ensuring efficient machine utilization, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets within the timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Supervise production workers, machine operators, and shop-floor staff.
- Ensure efficient utilization of machinery, manpower, raw materials, and other production resources.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of production machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with established production standards.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Minimize material wastage, production losses, and machine downtime.
- Monitor production output, workforce productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, stores, and other departments.




- Maintain daily production reports, machine downtime records, and performance reports.
- Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and compliance with operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased production efficiency.

Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience and Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, preferably in the same industry.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Proven experience in handling production teams, workers, and shop-floor operations.
- Positive understanding of production planning, quality control, and workflow management.
- Ability to troubleshoot production and machinery-related problems.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage manpower effectively and achieve production targets.
- Good reporting, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

- Achieve daily and monthly production targets.
- Maintain product quality and reduce rejection rates.
- Improve workforce productivity and machine utilization.
- Reduce production downtime, material wastage, and operational costs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
