Role & responsibilities

Category Strategy & Growth

- Develop and execute category growth strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive revenue, margin, and market share growth for assigned categories.

Sales & Performance Management

- Monitor category KPIs including Sales, GMV, Revenue, Margin, Conversion Rate, AOV, Traffic, and Inventory Turnover.
- Take corrective actions to improve underperforming products or categories.

Assortment & Product Management

- Manage product assortment, launches, discontinuations, and category expansion.
- Identify gaps in the assortment and recommend new products or brands.
- Ensure product listings are optimized with accurate content, images, and specifications.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination





- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Forecast demand and plan stock requirements to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory aging and implement liquidation strategies where necessary.

Cross-Channel Retail & Store Management

- Own performance and execution of offline retail stores along with online channels.
- Ensure strong alignment between store assortment and overall category strategy.
- Work closely with retail operations teams to optimize store productivity and profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors degree in engineering from a Tier 1 institute (IITs, NITs, or equivalent preferred).
- Academic grades must be 80% or above throughout
- Minimum 1 year of experience in analytics, consulting, product, e-commerce, or category/marketing roles.
- Robust analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of e-commerce business dynamics (preferred).
