Role Description The Article Trainee internship role at Jain Sanjay & Associates LLP is an on-site position based in the Greater Gwalior Area. The trainee will assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by supporting documentation, working papers, and audit testing under guidance. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, verifying vouchers and ledgers, and contributing to compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.

The role involves supporting project financing and corporate advisory work through data collection, analysis, and report preparation.



The trainee will also help in maintaining client files, coordinating with client teams, and learning professional standards and regulatory requirements relevant to chartered accountancy practice.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in tax fundamentals, including direct and indirect taxation, and an interest in compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare clear working papers and reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting or audit tools and software.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, professional etiquette, and the ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple assignments responsibly.
