Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role located in Chennai. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed designs and drawings, and ensuring that plans comply with local regulations and building codes. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams, reviewing design feasibility, and making site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.

The role also involves collaborating with clients to understand requirements, preparing presentations and design documentation, and supporting project timelines and budgets.



The Architect will contribute to continuous improvement in design quality, sustainability, and safety across projects.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailed drawings.
- Experience in Project Management, with the ability to coordinate timelines, resources, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Integration between design and engineering disciplines, and basic understanding of Software Development or design-related software tools where relevant.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and ability to interpret structural and MEP drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Chennai or similar urban environments.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Prior experience in building construction or civil projects is preferred; familiarity with sustainable and cost-effective design practices is beneficial.
