Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AR Executive to join our healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) team supporting a US-based outpatient therapy provider. The role involves managing Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups for Medicare Part B claims related to Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT), ensuring timely reimbursements and resolving claim denials, payment delays, and underpayments.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up on outstanding, unpaid, and underpaid medical claims.
- Contact insurance payers to investigate claim status, payment delays, and reimbursement issues.
- Identify reasons for claim denials and rejections and coordinate appropriate resolution.
- Review payment details, identify underpayments, and support timely claim resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of AR follow-ups, payer communications, and claim status updates.
- Work towards achieving AR productivity, quality, and collection targets.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and client data-security policies.
- Coordinate with internal billing teams to resolve claim-related discrepancies.

Candidate Requirements




- Graduate in any discipline; healthcare-related qualifications are preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in US healthcare Accounts Receivable (AR) or medical billing.
- Knowledge of US healthcare billing processes and insurance claim follow-ups.
- Familiarity with Medicare Part B billing is preferred.
- Experience with medical billing software, practice management systems, and MS Excel.
- Valuable English communication, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Willingness to work in shifts aligned with US client operations.

Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience in outpatient Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT) billing.
- Exposure to Medicare Part B claims, payer portals, denial management, and underpayment follow-ups.
- Understanding of US healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

Ideal Candidate Profile Candidates with hands-on US healthcare AR experience, strong payer follow-up skills, and knowledge of medical billing workflows will be preferred. Experience in PT/OT billing and Medicare Part B claims will be an added advantage.
