Qualcomm engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the world of compute products from conceptualization through post-silicon verification.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with programming language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Leverages knowledge of CPU Architecture to develop and/or optimize software for high performance and low power.




- Run benchmarks for applications and performs critical pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure performance and power goals are met.
- Analyze software workloads in order to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Debugs and addresses software performance issues.
- Collaborates with CPU, DSP and Compiler teams to identify solutions that meet CPU performance requirements.
- Writes detailed technical documentation and test descriptions for projects.
- 10+ years of Software Engineering or related experience.
- Excellent in programming using C/C++/Assembly/Scripting.
- In-depth Understanding of software stack - Linux Internals/device drivers.
- Strong understanding of Computer architecture and Operating system concepts.
- Valuable performance work /ARM /Database optimization /Load balance /Library optimization/Algorithm Optimization/High Level/ "No Web server only", We can accommodate one windows and one Android + power performance/Optimized libraries.
