SiliconMinds Technologies is looking for motivated and technically skilled candidates for the position of Analog Layout Trainer. We welcome freshers with strong VLSI fundamentals and experienced Analog Layout Engineers who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and developing industry-ready VLSI professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design fundamentals.
- Teach CMOS technology, semiconductor devices, and analog circuit layout concepts.
- Train students in analog layout design using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Explain floorplanning, placement, routing, and layout optimization techniques.
- Teach matching techniques, common-centroid layout, and interdigitated structures.
- Explain guard rings, shielding, latch-up prevention, and well taps.
- Train students in parasitic awareness, symmetry, and matching-sensitive layouts.
- Introduce Design Rule Checking (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), and physical verification.
- Explain parasitic extraction and its impact on circuit performance.
- Provide hands-on training using industry-standard tools, preferably Cadence Virtuoso.
- Guide students through practical labs, assignments, and industry-oriented projects.
- Prepare course materials, technical presentations,



and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide technical mentoring.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of VLSI fundamentals and CMOS technology.
- Understanding of Analog and Mixed-Signal IC layout concepts.
- Knowledge of matching techniques, parasitic effects, and layout-dependent considerations.
- Familiarity with DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction.
- Basic understanding of analog circuit design and semiconductor devices.
- Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent analog layout tools is an advantage.
- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers: Candidates with solid analog layout fundamentals and completed VLSI training can apply.
- Experienced Candidates: Analog Layout Engineers with practical experience in custom layout, DRC/LVS, and parasitic-aware design are encouraged to apply.
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Candidates must be willing to work full-time in Visakhapatnam.
