Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and REST Assured.

- Develop and execute API automation scripts to validate REST services, business rules, and integrations.

- Analyze business requirements, create test scenarios, test cases, and automate business-critical workflows.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and API applications.

- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams in an Agile setting.

- Troubleshoot automation failures, API issues, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Validate backend data using SQL and perform UI-to-API-to-Database testing.

- Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Amazon Q, or Cursor to improve test design, automation development, debugging, and productivity.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and participate in quality engineering best practices.

Job Requirements :

- 5-8 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG,



and REST Assured.

- Experience in API Automation Testing using REST Assured and Postman.

- Good understanding of automation framework design, Page Object Model (POM), and test automation best practices.

- Experience working with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.

- Strong SQL knowledge for backend validation and database testing.

- Practical experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or Amazon Q in day-to-day QA activities.

- Ability to explain how AI has been used for test case generation, automation scripting, debugging, code review, or productivity improvement.

- Proficiency in Git version control system.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Good to Have :

- Playwright Automation experience.

- MCP (Model Context Protocol) exposure.

- Banking, Payments, Financial Services, or Enterprise application experience.

- Experience in AI-assisted testing, prompt engineering, or AI output validation.
