JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Agentic AI Architect to design, develop, and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems on AWS. The role involves owning the complete lifecycle of agentic AI solutions, from architecture and system design to hands-on implementation and scaled deployment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong AI architecture expertise with hands-on Python development skills, building intelligent multi-agent systems that address real-world business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AGENTIC AI ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN

Design multi-agent architectures incorporating planning, tool usage, memory, and orchestration for real-world business use cases.

Define agent-to-agent communication patterns, tool calling, function calling, and orchestration strategies.

Design scalable and reliable agentic AI systems suitable for production environments.

AWS-BASED AI DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT

Architect and deploy agentic workflows using AWS services, including Amazon Bedrock, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, ECS, and EKS.

Build and deploy production-grade agentic AI solutions within AWS environments.

Optimise distributed agent workflows for latency, cost, scalability, and reliability.

HANDS-ON DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION

Write production-quality Python code to implement agentic AI solutions.

Build core agent components while collaborating closely with Python engineers.

Translate high-level architecture and system designs into functional, production-ready code.

Use orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Bedrock Agents, or custom frameworks.

RAG PIPELINES & VECTOR DATABASES

Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrate them into agent workflows.

Integrate vector stores such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, and similar technologies.

Design effective retrieval and knowledge integration mechanisms for agentic AI applications.

GUARDRAILS,



EVALUATION & OBSERVABILITY

Establish guardrails and evaluation frameworks to assess agent performance and reliability.

Implement observability mechanisms for monitoring production agentic AI systems.

Identify and resolve issues affecting system performance, reliability, and output quality.

PROTOTYPING & PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENT

Rapidly develop prototypes and iterate based on evaluation results.

Take agentic AI solutions from proof of concept to scalable production deployment.

Continuously improve architecture and implementation based on performance evaluations.

Stay updated with emerging agentic AI technologies and incorporate relevant patterns into system architecture.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

12+ years of relevant professional experience.

Strong expertise in AI and Generative AI research and development.

Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic AI systems.

Strong Python programming skills and experience writing production-quality code.

Experience with AWS AI and cloud services, particularly Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, ECS, and EKS.

Experience with multi-agent architectures, agent orchestration, tool calling,



and agent-to-agent communication.

Knowledge of frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Bedrock Agents, or equivalent custom frameworks.

Experience developing RAG pipelines and integrating vector databases such as OpenSearch and Pinecone.

Understanding of AI guardrails, evaluation frameworks, observability, and production monitoring.

Experience optimising distributed systems for latency, cost, scalability, and reliability.

Ability to guide Python engineers while remaining actively involved in implementation.

Strong architectural thinking, problem-solving, and technical leadership capabilities.
