Job Overview

Octaga Green Power and Sugar Co. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and responsible Accounts Executive with strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in Tally Prime. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, managing party accounts, and assisting with financial reporting and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Manage party ledgers, outstanding balances, and vendor/customer accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain cash books, bank books, and general ledgers.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Track payments, collections, and pending bills.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, income, and other financial transactions.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance as applicable.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting matters.




- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and financial verification.
- Ensure timely updating of accounts and accuracy of financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, or a relevant accounting qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, party reconciliation, and outstanding management.
- Working knowledge of VAT, GST, TDS, and statutory accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
- Solid numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle accounting work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a candidate who understands complete accounting processes and can independently manage routine accounting operations rather than perform only data entry. The candidate should be proactive, organised, trustworthy, and capable of maintaining accurate financial records.

Work Location: As per company requirements

Salary: As per experience and suitability
