Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our branches located outside Kerala. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily transactions, preparing reports, and coordinating with the Head Office for accounting-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle cash, receipts, payments, and expense records.
- Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Head Office.
- Maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and cash balance verification.
- Monitor branch expenses and ensure proper documentation of payments.
- Maintain records of customer payments and outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with branch staff and the Head Office regarding accounts-related matters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and timely submission of accounting records.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- B.Com or a related qualification in Commerce/Accounting preferred.
6months - 1 years of experience in accounting or a similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software is preferred.
- Positive numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.
- Willingness to work at locations outside Kerala.
