Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pune District. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

The Accountant will assist with budgeting, cost tracking for construction projects, and financial reporting for management. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with project teams and vendors,



ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, preferably with experience in project or construction accounting.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of applicable taxation rules, compliance requirements, and basic audit procedures.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and solid MS Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure industries is highly beneficial, though candidates with strong accounting backgrounds from related sectors are also encouraged to apply.
