We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the company's financial and statutory compliance requirements. Candidates with prior experience working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm will be given preference. However, candidates with relevant accounting knowledge and experience in other organisations are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Handle purchase and sales entries, invoicing, ledger maintenance and bank reconciliation.
- Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant and external auditors.
- Maintain financial documentation and supporting records for audits.
- Assist with accounts payable,



accounts receivable and payment tracking.
- Prepare basic financial reports and reconcile account balances.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained on time.

Requirements

- Qualification in Accountancy, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- Positive knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience working with a CA firm is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax and statutory compliance is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Tally, Excel and accounting software.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and a responsible attitude.

SKILLS

- Understanding of relevant tax/accounting concepts.
- Tally ERP and Prime Working Knowledge.
- Basic Computer Handling Knowledge (like using Windows OS).
- MS Office.
- Good Communication Skills.

Based on skills package will be discussed. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Salem, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
