Role Description This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Kochi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, reports,



and budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and vendors, monitoring cash flow, and providing financial data and insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in accounting fundamentals, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid MS Excel and other spreadsheet skills.
- Knowledge of relevant tax laws, compliance requirements, and local accounting standards and practices.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an engineering, consulting, or project-based environment is beneficial.
