Job Summary The Account Manager – Accounting & Advisory at Finanshels.com will own a portfolio of UAE SME clients, managing client relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting and financial services.

This role involves serving as the clients’ main point of contact, coordinating with our accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery, and helping founders understand and act on their numbers.

The Account Manager will play a vital role in achieving the department’s objectives of client satisfaction, retention, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand clients' financial needs and objectives, and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their financial status, address concerns, and provide updates on services.
- Service Delivery and Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams, including accounting team leads, senior accounting specialists, and finance associates, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively, escalating to the Head of Operations when necessary.
- Financial Advisory and Support:
- Provide clients with expert financial advice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Assist clients in understanding financial statements, reports, and other financial documentation.




- Identify opportunities for clients to improve their financial performance and achieve their goals.
- Client Onboarding and Off-boarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and transparent communication of service expectations.
- Manage the off-boarding process for departing clients, ensuring all services are concluded satisfactorily and feedback is collected.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, service delivery, and financial outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Head of Operations and other stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to suggest improvements to processes and services.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all financial services provided to clients comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with client accounts.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and best practices.

Requirements Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a client-facing role managing multiple client accounts.




- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow) and month-end close.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Xero or QuickBooks.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence presenting to business owners.
- Able to work UAE business hours.

Preferred

- Experience serving UAE or GCC clients.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Experience at an accounting firm, CA firm or finance outsourcing company.
- CA, ACCA, CMA or CPA (qualified or part-qualified).
- Zoho, Xero or QuickBooks certification.
- Uses AI tools or automation in day-to-day accounting work.
