Enbridg is looking for a motivated, confident, and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team in Chengannur. The ideal candidate should have experience in academic counseling, student admissions, telecalling, educational consulting, or the edutech industry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, making outbound calls to leads, explaining available courses, following up with interested candidates, and guiding them throughout the admission process. Candidates with prior experience in the edutech industry, particularly in telecalling and student admission conversion, will be given higher priority.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and leads to introduce Enbridg's courses and training programs.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to student inquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Explain course details, fees, duration, advantages, and career prospects to prospective students over the phone and in person.
- Follow up regularly with interested candidates through calls and messages to encourage enrollment.
- Convert leads and inquiries into admissions by providing appropriate course information and counseling.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable courses.




- Manage the student admission process, including registration, documentation, and enrollment.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, student inquiries, follow-ups, lead status, and admissions.
- Update lead information and follow-up activities in the company's CRM or student management system.
- Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and student enrollment.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents by providing timely guidance and support.
- Achieve assigned daily calling targets and monthly admission or enrollment targets.
- Prepare regular reports on telecalling activities, lead conversion, follow-ups, and admission progress.
- Assist students with course-related queries and guide them toward appropriate academic and career pathways.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with prospective students over the phone.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and student management or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries and maintain accurate records.

Experience





- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in academic counseling, telecalling, student admissions, educational consulting, or a related field.
- Candidates with prior experience in the edutech industry will be given first priority.
- Experience in outbound calling, lead generation, student counseling, admission conversion, and follow-up management will be an added advantage.
