Job Title: Academic Counsellor

Location: Saligramam, Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Student Counseling & Guidance

- Provide career counseling based on student background, goals, and skill gaps

- Recommend suitable IT courses, certifications, and learning paths

- Explain IT domains such as cloud, cybersecurity, networking, software development, and data analytics

- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions

Course & Program Coordination

- Assist students with enrollment, batch selection, and program onboarding

- Coordinate with trainers to ensure smooth delivery of classes

- Maintain updated knowledge of all training programs.

Student Progress Tracking

- Monitor attendance, performance, and completion status

- Maintain accurate student records in the LMS

- Provide regular updates to students and management

Placement & Career Support

- Guide students in resume building, LinkedIn optimization,



and interview preparation

- Coordinate with placement teams and hiring partners

- Support students until successful job placement

Relationship Management

- Build strong rapport with students to ensure satisfaction and retention

- Follow up with leads and inquiries to convert them into enrollments

- Handle student concerns with empathy and professionalism

Required Skills & Competencies

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic understanding of IT concepts and career paths

- Ability to explain technical topics in simple language

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills

- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital tools
