About the Role

Tanishq is looking for motivated MBA graduates to join its retail business team as Management Trainees. The role offers exposure to retail sales, business planning, store performance, customer experience, merchandising and market development within the jewellery retail business.

Selected candidates will work with regional and store teams to understand business operations, identify growth opportunities and support initiatives that improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Retail Sales & Business Performance: Assist in monitoring store sales, achievement against targets, revenue growth and business performance.

- Business Analysis: Analyse sales reports, customer trends, market data and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

- Retail Operations: Coordinate with store teams to support smooth store operations, service standards and operational compliance.

- Customer Experience: Understand customer feedback and support initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.

- Marketing & Promotions: Assist in planning and executing regional retail promotions, marketing activities, festive campaigns and in-store initiatives.

- Visual Merchandising: Coordinate with relevant teams to support store presentation, product displays and brand standards.

- Market Development:



Support market research, competitor benchmarking and identification of potential business opportunities.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with regional sales, store operations, merchandising, marketing, HR and other internal teams.

- Business Reporting: Prepare sales reports, analyse performance trends and present insights to support management decisions.

- Leadership Development: Learn retail business processes, team coordination and business planning as part of the management trainee programme.

Candidate Requirements

- MBA/PGDM from an eligible Tier-1 management institute.

- Eligible graduating batch as specified by the hiring team.

- Retail internship or project experience preferred, particularly in jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG or organised retail.

- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.

- Interest in retail sales, customer experience and business management.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.

- Willingness to work at any of the assigned locations.
