Looking for a Software Development Engineer with strong experience in 4G LTE / 5G NR Layer 3 (RRC) protocol stack development for vRAN solutions. The role involves design, development, testing, debugging, and integration of RRC control-plane features.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop 5G NR / LTE Layer 3 RRC features and control-plane procedures.
- Work on RRC connection setup/reconfiguration/release, mobility, handovers, measurements, Carrier Aggregation and Dual Connectivity.
- Develop high-performance software using C/C++ on Linux.
- Work with 3GPP protocols and interfaces such as F1AP, E1AP, NGAP, XnAP and X2AP.
- Integrate RRC with PDCP, RLC, MAC/Scheduler, OAM/SON/RIC components.
- Perform unit/component testing,



debugging and root-cause analysis using GDB, Valgrind and Wireshark.
- Support system integration, interoperability testing and field issue resolution.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust C/C++, Linux, multithreading and data structures.
- Hands-on commercial development experience in LTE eNodeB and/or 5G gNodeB Layer 3 RRC.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP RRC specifications, call flows, state machines and mobility procedures.
- Knowledge of CU-CP/CU-UP/DU architecture and F1AP/E1AP/NGAP/XnAP/X2AP interfaces.
- Experience with Wireshark, Git and protocol debugging.
- Exposure to vRAN, Docker, Kubernetes, O-RAN/RIC is an advantage.
