We are looking for a Finance Manager to support MIPS' IP Licensing and Tools businesses- core growth engines as we scale our RISCV and Physical AI platform.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IFRS revenue recognition and a solid understanding of how to align commercial deal structures with compliant accounting outcomes.
This is a handson finance leadership role, embedded in the business and influencing commercial and investment decisions.
Revenue & Contract Ownership
Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure IP licensing and tools agreements
Own endtoend contract economics, including performance obligation assessment and revenue recognition under IFRS 15
Ensure deal structures and revenue timing align with both commercial objectives and accounting requirements
Act as the primary finance partner for Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders
Evaluate R&D; investments, cost structures, and profitability across licensing and tools offerings
Support pricing, deal strategies, and tradeoff decisions with clear financial insights
Financial Leadership
Lead endtoend financial planning, forecasting,



and performance management for the IP Licensing and Tools businesses
Drive forecasting accuracy, operating cadence, variance analysis, and management reporting
Proactively identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations
Drive automation across FP&A; and contract workflows, leveraging AI to improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and scalability while reducing manual, spreadsheetdriven processes

CPA, MBA, or relevant master's degree

- 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in semiconductor IP licensing
- Deep expertise in IFRS 15 revenue recognition and contract structuring across complex technology arrangements
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executivelevel presentation skills
