Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI), part of the Global Technology & Operations organization, consists of more than 6,600 employees worldwide. Senior z/OS systems programmer with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience. The position provides technical support for multiple large scale z/OS parallel SYSPLEX environments running multi-tiered applications making heavy use of various vendor products. The functions of the position include technical guidance and advice to Data Center Operations, support teams, application developers and end users. Software implementation, maintenance, certification testing, development and documentation of operational procedures. Problem debugging and root cause analysis, interaction with software vendors. The operating systems programmer role is instrumental in delivering key infrastructure initiatives, including ARC recovery and z16 server upgrades, as well as operating systems upgrades and security patching.

7+ years of experience as a system programmer and experience in providing technical support for Mainframe Services z/OS Platform Engineering and related IBM Z hardware support.
