Role & Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, high-quality software applications.- Manage and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and continuous feedback.- Define technical architecture, development standards, coding best practices, and software engineering processes.- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, development plans, and actionable tasks.- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.- Review code for quality, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.- Identify technical risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.- Plan and manage sprint activities, resource allocation, development timelines, and release schedules using Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Drive continuous improvement through automation, CI/CD practices, testing strategies, and modern development tools.- Ensure adherence to security standards, performance benchmarks, coding guidelines, and software development best practices.- Evaluate recent technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve development efficiency and product quality.- Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery against agreed business objectives.- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, technical ownership, and a culture of continuous learning within the engineering team.Preferred Candidate Profile : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,



or a related field.- 7 - 12 years of overall experience in software development, including proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar technologies.- Hands-on experience with software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design.- Experience building scalable applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.- Proficiency in relational and/or NoSQL databases, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, and DevOps practices.- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, estimation, and project delivery.- Demonstrated ability to conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, resolve complex technical issues, and drive technical decisions.- Proven leadership, team management, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership, delivery management, and team development.- Strong analytical thinking, ownership, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high-quality software within agreed timelines.
