Job Description – Shift Supervisor

Position: Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage production activities during the assigned shift.

- Monitor Tube Mill, CTL, Slitting and related production processes.

- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the daily plan.

- Monitor product quality and ensure production as per specifications.

- Allocate manpower and manage operators/helpers during the shift.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Production Planning teams.

- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns to the Maintenance team.

- Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished goods.

- Maintain shift-wise reports.

- Ensure compliance with safety rules,



PPE requirements and company SOPs.

- Handle shift-related issues and escalate major problems to the Production Manager.

- Maintain discipline and proper housekeeping in the production area.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / ITI / Engineering qualification preferred.

- 4–7 years of experience in Steel/Tube Mill manufacturing.

- Hands-on experience in Tube Mill / CTL / Slitting operations preferred.

- Positive manpower handling and communication skills.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

- Knowledge of production, quality and safety procedures.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
