Role Description The QAD Developer role at Cogentix Systems is a full-time, on-site position based in India. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining QAD applications, customizations, and integrations to support business operations. The QAD Developer will work closely with functional teams to understand requirements, configure modules, write and optimize code, and troubleshoot system issues. Daily responsibilities include participating in code reviews, preparing technical documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices,



and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to improve performance and user experience within the QAD environment.
Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with QAD ERP development, customization, and module configuration.
- Proficiency in related programming or scripting languages commonly used with QAD (e.g., Progress/OpenEdge or similar technologies).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into technical solutions within QAD.
- Positive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an on-site environment and coordinating with cross-functional teams in India.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant QAD certifications are an advantage.
