Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who can take full ownership of the warehouse: racking and storage, stock accuracy, dispatch, and the supervisors and workforce. The person who joins must be able to run the operation independently and report to the owner with clear, accurate information.

Key Responsibilities

Racking & Storage

- Manage a G+5 pallet racking system with defined bin locations (row, column, level)
- Ensure every pallet is put away in the correct bin and the location is recorded accurately
- Plan space usage, put-away, and picking to keep the warehouse organized and avoid congestion
- Enforce FIFO by batch, production date, and MRP
- Ensure safe forklift / reach truck movement and racking load safety

Inventory & Stock Control

- Maintain 100% stock accuracy between physical stock and records
- Conduct regular cycle counts and month-end physical stock audits
- Track positive vs. damaged stock and handle damage segregation and reporting
- Reconcile stock with client records and resolve differences quickly

Inward & Dispatch

- Plan and supervise daily receipts from the factory and dispatches to depots
- Coordinate vehicle placement, loading, and documentation without delays
- Ensure dispatch accuracy (right SKU, batch, quantity)

People Management

- Lead supervisors, forklift operators, and loading/unloading labour
- Allocate shifts and daily work,



and hold supervisors accountable for targets
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity on the floor
- Resolve worker issues firmly and fairly, without escalating everything to the owner
- Train new staff on racking, stock procedures, and safety

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly MIS on stock, inward, dispatch, damages, and manpower
- Ensure housekeeping, fire safety, and PPE compliance
- Be ready for client audits and inspections at any time

Requirements

- 5+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years as Warehouse Manager / In-charge
- Mandatory: hands-on experience managing a pallet racking warehouse with bin locations
- Experience in FMCG, 3PL, or manufacturing warehouses preferred
- Proven experience leading a team of 20+ workers and supervisors
- Strong knowledge of FIFO, batch tracking, stock audits, and damage handling
- Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (WMS or SAP exposure is a plus)
- Good communication in Tamil; English and Hindi preferred
- Graduate in any discipline; diploma/degree in logistics or supply chain is a plus

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
