Job Summary

Ajanta Footcare (India) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Retail Store Manager to manage daily store operations at our Bhagwangola, Murshidabad location. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in retail showroom operations, team management, inventory control, customer service, and sales target achievement.

Candidates with experience in footwear retail, apparel retail, or other retail showroom operations are encouraged to apply.

Experience Required

- 2–4 years of experience in retail operations as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Retail Store Manager.
- Experience in footwear retail, apparel retail, or any retail showroom is mandatory.
- Proven experience in team handling, stock management, and sales target achievement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the showroom.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and improve store performance.
- Manage inventory, stock movement, and stock control.
- Maintain store housekeeping, product displays, and visual merchandising standards.
- Supervise and guide store staff to ensure productivity and discipline.




- Prepare and maintain daily sales, stock, and operational reports.
- Handle POS/billing operations and ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Coordinate with the management team regarding store performance and operational requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Basic computer knowledge and working proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with POS and billing software.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and solve operational problems.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Candidates with experience in footwear, apparel, fashion, or other retail showrooms.
- Candidates who can independently manage store operations and lead a team.
- Candidates willing to work at Bhagwangola, Murshidabad, West Bengal.
