About the Role

Sky Education Group is looking for a motivated and result-oriented Higher Education Counsellor who can connect with students and working professionals, understand their educational backgrounds, career aspirations, and learning requirements, and guide them towards the most suitable universities and academic programs.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, recommending appropriate UG and PG courses for Universities like Amity, LPU, GLA, Manipal, SMU, Arkajian, VGU, and supporting them throughout the admission journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students and working professionals through calls and other communication channels.
- Understand their educational qualifications, career goals, and academic requirements.
- Recommend suitable universities and UG/PG programs based on individual needs and preferences.
- Explain course details, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, and available learning formats.
- Guide students in selecting the right university and program from the available options.
- Address student queries, concerns, and objections with accurate information.




- Maintain regular follow-ups with interested candidates and support them throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth enrolment process.
- Work towards achieving individual admission and conversion targets.

Requirements & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in education counselling, admissions, sales, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a target-oriented workplace.
