Soulocal is a quick-commerce marketplace connecting customers with local stores for convenient online shopping and doorstep delivery.

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Delivery Operations Manager to manage and streamline end-to-end delivery operations. The candidate will be responsible for delivery partner management, order allocation, delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

A. Delivery Operations Management

- Manage day-to-day delivery operations and ensure timely order deliveries.
- Monitor order allocation, pickup, dispatch, and delivery processes.
- Ensure smooth coordination between stores, delivery partners, and the customer support team.
- Monitor pending, delayed, cancelled, and failed deliveries.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency.

B. Delivery Partner Management

- Recruit, onboard, and manage delivery partners.
- Monitor delivery partner attendance, availability, productivity, and performance.
- Allocate delivery partners based on order volume and delivery locations.
- Handle delivery partner issues, complaints, and operational challenges.
- Ensure delivery partners follow company policies and service standards.

C. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Track daily orders, successful deliveries, cancellations, and return orders.
- Monitor average delivery time and delivery partner productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Identify delivery delays and take corrective actions.
- Monitor delivery costs and improve operational efficiency.

D. Store & Customer Coordination

- Coordinate with partner stores to ensure orders are ready for pickup.
- Resolve order-related issues between stores and delivery partners.




- Coordinate with the customer support team to resolve delivery complaints.
- Ensure a positive customer delivery experience.

E. Team Management & Process Improvement

- Manage and supervise the delivery operations team.
- Establish delivery SOPs and operational procedures.
- Handle emergency delivery situations and escalations.
- Plan delivery partner availability based on peak hours and order demand.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and service quality.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in delivery operations, logistics, fleet management, or quick-commerce operations.
- Experience managing delivery executives and field operations.
- Solid team management and leadership skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and operational reporting.
- Ability to analyse delivery performance and operational data.
- Knowledge of quick-commerce or hyperlocal delivery platforms is an added advantage.

- On-time delivery percentage.
- Average order delivery time.
- Successful delivery rate.
- Order cancellation and failed delivery rate.
- Delivery partner productivity.
- Delivery partner attendance and availability.
- Customer delivery complaints.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
