Job Overview

Indo European Study Abroad is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Education Counsellor to guide students through the process of pursuing higher education abroad. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in the study abroad industry and a strong understanding of international education pathways and university admissions.

Job Details

- Experience Required: 2–5 years
- Industry: Study Abroad / Overseas Education (Mandatory)
- Location: Amritsar, Punjab
- Working Days: 6 days a week
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities, universities, courses, and countries.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences to recommend suitable study destinations and programs.
- Guide students on admission requirements, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and documentation.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into enrolments.
- Coordinate with the application and visa teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Maintain accurate student records, counselling updates, and follow-ups in the CRM.




- Stay updated on university admission requirements, intake deadlines, and international education trends.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing accurate and timely guidance.
- Achieve counselling, conversion, and enrolment targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in the study abroad industry is mandatory.
- Proven experience in overseas education counselling and student conversions.
- Positive knowledge of international universities, courses, admission processes, and study destinations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
- Strong follow-up, relationship-building, and client-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple student enquiries.
- Familiarity with CRM software and student application processes is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
