JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE EXECUTIVE

Department: Stores / Inventory Management

Qualification: Any Degree or Diploma; candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Logistics are preferred.

Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and responsible Store Executive to manage inventory, material receipts, storage, and dispatch activities. The candidate will ensure accurate stock records, timely material availability, and proper coordination with Purchase, Production, and other departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Handle the receipt, inspection coordination, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Issue raw materials, tools, spare parts, and consumables as per authorized requests.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper material identification, labeling, and storage arrangements.
- Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, and stock reports.




- Update inventory transactions in ERP systems or MS Excel.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and applicable material handling procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Accounts teams.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and proper utilization of store space.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience handling engineering materials, tools, and consumables.
- Basic to positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software.
- Knowledge of GRN, stock registers, delivery challans, and material issue documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and record-maintenance skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in stores or inventory management in an engineering or manufacturing company are preferred. Experience in SAP, ERP, or other inventory management software will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
