Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Store In-Charge to oversee day-to-day store operations, inventory control, material handling, and stock management. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material availability for production, supervising store staff, and implementing effective stock control procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage the overall store and warehouse operations.
- Supervise the receipt, inspection coordination, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Prepare and verify GRNs, material issue slips, stock transfer records, and dispatch documents.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and preservation of raw materials, finished goods, tools, and consumables.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance,



and Accounts departments.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock and prepare inventory reports.
- Implement FIFO and other applicable inventory control procedures.
- Maintain stock transactions in ERP software and MS Excel.
- Supervise store personnel and ensure discipline, safety, and housekeeping.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and inventory reports for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency and reduce inventory losses.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing stores.
- Knowledge of GRN, stock reconciliation, material inward/outward, and inventory documentation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP inventory modules.
- Team supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of material handling, stock audits, and FIFO procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 5–10 years of experience in store management, preferably in engineering, CNC machining, automotive components, or manufacturing industries. Previous experience supervising store staff and managing ERP-based inventory systems will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
