- MBBS with MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia
- Experience in providing anaesthesia for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Experience in peri-operative and post-operative management of cardiac surgical patients
- Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anaesthesia services for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessment and optimization of patients
- Manage intra-operative anaesthesia and haemodynamic monitoring
- Provide peri-operative care for high-risk cardiac patients
- Participate in post-operative management of patients in the cardiac/critical care setting
- Coordinate closely with CTVS surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists and other multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in emergency and on-call services
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and hospital policies across all Critical Care Units
