We are looking for a hands-on *SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Technical Consultant with strong SAP FI/CO knowledge and practical expertise in CDS View development*.

The candidate will independently manage S/4HANA CDS requirements from requirement analysis and source-to-target mapping through design, development, debugging, testing, and validation.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand existing S/4HANA landscapes quickly and deliver technical solutions independently with minimal ramp-up time.

*We are specifically looking for a technical ABAP developer with strong FI/CO development experience. Candidates with primarily functional FI/CO knowledge and limited hands-on ABAP/CDS development experience will not be suitable for this role.*

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze business requirements and independently drive S/4HANA CDS View development from requirement gathering through implementation and validation.

* Design, develop, enhance, and debug CDS Views for SAP S/4HANA Finance and reporting requirements.

* Identify relevant SAP tables, fields, joins, filters, calculations, and business logic.

* Prepare source-to-target mappings to support data extraction, reporting, and analytics requirements.

* Work extensively with S/4HANA Finance data models, including the Universal Journal (*ACDOCA*).

* Develop and maintain ABAP programs, ABAP Objects, Z programs, reports, BAdIs, user exits, and other custom developments.

* Understand SAP FI/CO business processes and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

* Troubleshoot existing ABAP and CDS logic, resolving technical issues and data discrepancies.





* Validate CDS View outputs against SAP transactional data and finance business processes.

* Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.

* Collaborate with SAP FI/CO, SAP Core Functions, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams.

* Reconcile SAP data with downstream reporting and analytics platforms to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Must-Have Technical Skills

* Strong hands-on experience in *SAP ABAP and ABAP Objects*.

* Practical experience with *SAP S/4HANA*.

* Solid hands-on expertise in *CDS View design and development*.

* Good understanding of S/4HANA data models, particularly the Universal Journal and ACDOCA.

* Hands-on ABAP development experience supporting SAP FI/CO requirements.

* Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO processes, including:

* General Ledger (GL)

* Accounts Payable (AP)

* Accounts Receivable (AR)

* Cost Center Accounting

* Profit Center Accounting

* Asset Accounting

* Experience in SAP table analysis, joins, data mapping, and business logic implementation.

* Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions independently.

* Experience in testing, data validation, and reconciliation of SAP Finance data.
