Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, inventory transactions, and accounts payable/receivable for our bakery manufacturing business. The candidate should have knowledge of accounting software, GST, and stock management, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Handle sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, and payment entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
- Maintain records of raw materials, including flour, sugar, butter, yeast, and other bakery ingredients.
- Track production expenses, packaging costs, wastage, and finished goods inventory.
- Monitor stock movements between raw materials, production, warehouse, and dispatch.
- Assist in calculating product costs, manufacturing expenses, and profit margins.
- Prepare GST invoices and assist with GST returns and TDS compliance.
- Maintain petty cash, daily cash flow, and expense records.




- Coordinate with purchase, production, warehouse, sales, and management teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in month-end closing, audit preparation, and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely submission of reports.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
- Understanding of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in bakery manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or a similar manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of raw material consumption, production costing, stock control, and wastage management.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Working Conditions

- Full-time position.
- Work closely with the accounts, production, purchase, and warehouse teams.
- Working hours and weekly holidays as per company policy.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
