Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse with experience in the Medical Department and good proficiency in IV cannulation and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in the medical department.
- Perform IV cannulation, administer IV medications, fluids, and injections.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their clinical condition.
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and medical procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate nursing records.
- Identify and promptly report changes in patients' conditions.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient safety.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment.
Requirements:
- Qualification: GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Previous nursing experience in a General Medicine Department or medical ward preferred.
- Must be proficient in IV cannulation and venous access.
- Good knowledge of medication administration and basic emergency management.
- Robust clinical skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Responsible, compassionate, and patient-oriented.
