To design and develop reliable, cost-effective and manufacturable mechanical components and assemblies for new and existing products, from concept to production, while meeting quality and project requirements.

Requirements

Education : BE/B Tech Mechanical

Experience : 3-4 years

Specialties (If Any) : Auto CAD and Creo Software

Certifications (If Any) : Certification in Creo / Pro-E and AutoCAD is desirable.

Essential Skills / Aptitude:

Essentials:

- Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E and AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of mechanical design, 3D modelling and engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, tolerances and fits.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical calculations and design analysis.
- Positive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication, planning and project execution skills.

Desired:

- Knowledge of DFMA and GD&T.;
- Experience in prototype development, testing and product improvement.
- Exposure to vendor development, cost reduction and component standardization.

Key Responsibilites :

- Develop mechanical concepts, 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawing for new products and product improvements.
- Support the complete development cycle from concept,



prototyping and testing through design finalization and production release.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis and design reviews; optimize designs for functionality, reliability, manufacturability and cost.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and vendors to resolve design, manufacturing and assembly issues and support prototype/pilot production.
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications and other mechanical design documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for component development, technical clarifications, material selectin and engineering changes.

- Timely completion of design activities as per project plans and schedules.
- Accuracy and quality of drawings, BOMs and design documentation.
- Number of design-related issues during prototype, production and field use.
- Timely resolution of manufacturing and design-related problems.
- Cost optimization and design improvement through standardization and value engineering.
- Compliance with QMS procedures and engineering documentation requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
